I dig it, very nice!
Very clean and simple. Great job. Two things I think might help:
1. Remove the bottom border on the selected tab in the top navigation.
2. Style the headings of the sidebar a liitle more.
But even without those it’s looks great.
And both CSS and The markup validate!
Thanks guys. I will take your inputs.
Indeed, it’s really nice
Beautiful theme. If I hadn’t already spent so much time integrating Zenphoto into Mesozoic, I’d be inclined to use this.
now I released version 2.
this one has the options page so you can customize a few options.
also supports ‘Asides’ now.
Check it out at http://wpthemes.info/misty-look/version-2/
What is happening with Misty Look please – has Version 2 been withdrawn?
Do I need to migrate to a later version?
This is what I’ve been doing with it: http://www.intheboatshed.net .
Thanks, Gavin
nothing is withdrawn. I am not sure I understand your concerns.
please throw some more light.
-SadishSadish I use your theme on my site. http://www.eatskeet.com
but in internet explorer my sidebar is on the bottom of the page. Any reason for this?
Thanks,
Trevorplease try the steps mentioned in http://wpthemepark.com/2006/10/13/sidebar-drops-down.html
and if you still need help, go ahead to http://forums.wpthemes.info !
Thanks.
I tried searching WordPress for the Misty Look theme because I wanted to solve a small technical problem I was having and I hoped that the information would be somewhere if I followed the link.
But WordPress’s search gizmo couldn’t find it and Google found a number of broken links – hence my question about whether it might have been withdrawn.
My difficulty, by the way, is all my own foolishness – I can’t seem to figure out where the component php files are on my server, which is a shame because I need to make some changes to the wording of the titling etc. I’d also like to consider removing the Links box on the right-hand side, and to tidy up the ads at the bottom of the page.
By the way, is it possible to put Google ads within posts? Or is there a way of putting them below the right-hand column boxes please?
Thanks,
Gav
Hello,
I am looking for help with the misty-look theme,
The nature of my site caused the sidebar to fall to the bottom of the page if the content got too wide in the main column because it is necessary for me to use <pre> tags in my content area.
Therefore I used position absolute to position the sidebar and now sometimes if the page content is not lengthy enough, the sidebar overflows out of the container. are there any quick css solutions you can think of to help me?
http://www.video-tabs.com is the site in question.
Sincerely,
Josh Kaufman
