• Hey I’m trying to put together this e-zine but for some reason my posts are only showing up in the first 2 columns on the left side of the grid instead of the 4 columns available.

    Here’s my site: http://www.zukumag.com/
Here’s how it should behave like: http://imbalance2.wpshower.com/

I’ve deactivated all the plugins that were installed so I don’t think it’s them. Do you think it might be the Suckerfish dropdown menu?

Though I’m pretty stumped as to what might be causing it so I appreciate any help.

    Thanks,
    P

  • If you are using any plugin for showing this posts as grid. Please mentioned it.
May be you could change the no. of columns from 2 to 4 in that plugin setting.

    Lets discuss on it.

Hi, thanks for replying. There’s no plugin for showing the posts as a grid as it’s part of the theme- I think it uses masonry and it’s 4 columns by default.

I’m guessing something must be conflicting with it for it to behave like this?

Well I can change the position of third post to show in row.

But I don’t think that will help you. If it is by default 4 columns, please check your theme options or settings.

Yeah it 4 by default but there’s definitely no theme options/settings that let you change it…unless you do it manually but I don’t think I’ve done that. There’s only fluid/fixed grid. Also on the reading settings I have it to show 12 posts on the page (4×3)- I think the default was 10.

I had a good google earlier and looked through the WP Shower forum for similar problems and the majority of the time I think it was a plugin that was conflicting with the grid and causing the issue. I’ve tried deactivating my installed plugins and nothing changed but maybe I didn’t give it enough time to work. Is the masonry grid, jquery? I’m thinking maybe something is conflicting with it like the Suckerfish Dropdown Menu which uses jquery for IE.

I’m probably totally wrong though so I do appreciate the help.

Also, not sure if this is relevant but I think the only thing I changed with the grid was the width of the box of the post (about 10px less) so I didn’t think it was that.
