fresh & clean, featured image not showing up in slider

    Hi everyone – I am working with the fresh & clean theme and it seems my featured image is not showing up in the slider. I have the post set as sticky and added a featured image to it that is 840 x 280 but the image only shows up next to the post and not as part of a slider. I was able to get it working fine on wordpress.com but because I wanted to self-host in order to customize some other features, I can’t seem to get it working on the self host site.     Hi there

    How did you solve this issue? I think I have a similar issue. Everything is as I want it but I can’t get the imagines from the slider to show!

    How on earth did you do it?! Any pointers much appreciated!

    Ah-haaa! It seems to be something to do with having a child theme.

    When I switch back to the parent theme, the slider works.

    But surely, modifying the parent theme is NOT the way to go?
