• When I googled my website, while it was “private” and “hidden” mind you, it was the first hit on google! Now that my page, it not hidden from search engines it’s no where to be found. As a matter of fact, instead of googling “A Random Company”, I have to google “arandomcompany” and it shows up, but on the second page and it has the title “rss feed”! When I click on it, it doesn’t take me to my site’s RSS feed, so I don’t know why it displays that.
I recently have added the google xml sitemap to my plugins and I don’t know if that’s it? I don’t have a static page, so I don’t know what the problem could be. If my site was never indexed correctly I would be fine (First hit, correct site title), but it went from that to being on the second page with a title that has nothing to do with my website!
**Edit: I just went to my site and click on my rss link. It’s not even working! It say’s that “safari can’t load any data from this location.” ?????? This was fine before as well!
***Edit: I looked over my site again and I saw that I had a broken link and it was actually my website url. I DID attempt to create a static page awhile ago, but I decided not to have one and i changed the option from the “reading” menu. The broken link had the title that I was using for my static page, so I just trashed it, but nothing is working still.
****On Firefox I am able to click and get directed to my rss feeds, but still not on safari. Why could this be? And RSS Feeds is still showing up as the title for my site. 🙁
