• After moving my site from the development server to the live site. The 28 pages that I have on the development server do not show up. I have an .htaccess file. I’ve checked the table in phpmyadmin and see the page in the wp_posts but they do not show up on the live site. I deleted the installation and reinstalled and the same thing happened. Trying to get site live for client and completely perplexed on how to make these pages show up. Don’t want to make 28 pages over.

    thank you

  • Hi Rchiiton,

What happens when you try to access the main page? Also do the pages show saved in the wp-admin section?

The template pages all show up under the dropdown list. It’s the actual pages that did not transfer over into wordpress. The pages are stored in the database correct? I can see them in myphpadmin but I can not figure out how to export that table and import ir – I tried it didn’t work – and if that is truely the way to go about it.

Yes pages and all other content is stored in the database.

To move a WordPress database using PhpMyAdmin you can simply follow the below procedure:

    1. Login to the source PhpMyAdmin and select the database in question.
    2. Click on the Export tab.
    3. Make sure the format is SQL.
    4. Click on Go.
    5. Login to the destination PhpMySQL.
    6. Select the destination database.
    7. Click on the Import tab.
    8. Click on Choose file and choose the file to which the database was exported.
    9. Click go and the database should be migrated.
