[Theme: Hey, Cookie] Header & Drop-Down Menu??
-
Just installed “Hey, Cookie” {love it!} and I can’t figure out where to configure a header slider image like the one in the example: http://heycookie-demo.calobeedoodles.com/
I also can’t see the option for a drop-down menu or how to configure that.

Oh! And I also want to know hot to get more than just 10 posts featured on the front page. Again, the example has many more.
You can configure the slider by following the instructions outlined in the theme’s readme (download the theme from the repo directly, then unzip it and look for readme.txt).
You can configure a drop-down menu by creating and assigning a custom menu to the navigation area under Appearance -> Menus.
You can change the number of posts displayed on the front page by going to Settings -> Reading (“Blog pages show at most…”)
Hope this helps!
Hi!
Thanks for your awsome theme!
I would like to know how can I change the black part on the top, I just want another color like white.
Thanks a lot!
You can do this in a child theme using CSS. A tool like Firebug works great for stuff like this–you can right-click on the site to Inspect the areas you want to change and find the pieces of the stylesheet that need to be changed.
Hi,
Sorry Caroline, could you explain me (us) one more time how to create a drop-down menu ?
Thanks a lot,

You can configure a drop-down menu by creating and assigning a custom menu to the navigation area under Appearance -> Menus.
