The logged in user screenshot shows both an Admin and Account link, but I’m only getting an Admin link, and I can’t find an option to also display an Account or Profile link. Since I have my site set not to display the WP admin bar, I’d really like to have a profile link on this. I have not tested to see if a user who does not have administration permissions has a profile link instead of the admin link, so I’m just assuming they do.

    MaureenT,

Thanks for your post. The Admin and Profile links are dependent upon which type of user is logged in. Admin users will see an Admin link, and standard users will see a Profile link.

Regarding the Account link displayed in the screenshot… that is a custom link that was added in the WP User Control widget options to display WPEC account details. You can add any custom link you want in the same way, just enter the url in the Custom Link field and enter the desired title for your link in the Custom Link Title field and then save.

This plugin is EXACTLY what I was looking for: simple design and great functionality! But I do have a similar question as MaureenT: The Profile link, when logged in as a regular user, leads to wp-admin/profile.php or Dashboard. I just started using Wordress and have no idea how to edit the Profile link so it will redirect users to a custom page. You did mention Custom Link, but even when I add it the Profile link is still there; can I maybe delete profile.php altogether? If so, how would I do that? I would really appreciate any help. Thank you!
