    We don’t have in the nearest plans to make it compatible with Sphinx-2.0.4, but it will may be that it will run with no problem with this Sphinx version. Please let me know to opensource@ivinco.com if it’s critical for you and we can discuss how we can help you.

    As for SphinxSE the plugin is not using that and I don’t think it makes sense to do this since SphinxSE has it’s drawbacks and doesn’t bring additional value for the user in this case unless someone is going to build smth based on the plugin which would be using SphinxSE.
