• Trying the plugin on my local XAMPP istallation, I get no default “Fields” and an empty dropdown for “Field type” selection for fields I create.

As a result the vcard data only contain

    :Forrest Gump
    :forrestgump@example.com

    instead of

    FN:Forrest Gump
    EMAIL;TYPE=INTERNET:forrestgump@example.com

Apparently the function create_init_data that should prefill wp_contactvcard_fields and wp_contactvcard_field_types does not work for some reason.

  • It will work fine without the dropdown. But the vcard link qrcode are not working.

Yes the function to populate the field types and default fields is not working. You can add it manually to the database though, then it’ll work.

The QR and vcf didn’t work for me initially as well, until I created the folder “cache” manually in wp-contents folder.
