• I’m having a problem getting my two column site layout to work correctly in IE. In firefox everything is fine, but IE seems to send the right hand column to the bottom of the page, rather than placing it alongside the first column. I was hoping someone might have an idea or two? The page is over here: http://www.sadsweetsongs.co.uk

  • No, it is NOT fine in FF – it has a horizontal scrollbar which tells the whole thing is wider than is should be (which is no wonder with those huge pics…)

    I’d start here: http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//www.sadsweetsongs.co.uk/
and after all the errors are corrected, post back if the problem persist.

Ok, i’ve fixed the errors that the validator pointed out, but still no joy. I’m aware that on smaller screens the pictures cause a horizontal scroll bar, but I can’t think of anyway around that without completely changing the design, unless anyone has any clever ideas.
