I am trying to install W3 Total Cache, but am getting these errors:

My .htaccess file has rights setto 777 and WordPress can write to it for the permalinks.
Even if I copy the code manually into the .htaccess file, I still get the same errors.

W3TC is trying to complete the setup for you. You will need to ask your host if your site files are configured to allow PHP to write files – that’s why these issues aren’t going away. It’s an owner / group issue.
