# 7/9 database changes

 * We already found out that the [comment_approved](http://wordpress.org/support/6/12311)
   field in table wordpress_comments was changed from “1” to “2” thus all comments
   dissapeared. Not completely but from view…
    Something in wordpress_posts has 
   changed too. Field guid which is varchar(255) here in my database contains nothing
   but `//?p=` in all of my posts, whatever it contained before?!?!

 * Duh! Just found in [http://wordpress.org/support/6/12438](http://wordpress.org/support/6/12438)
   that the field “guid” came with the upgrade. So I guess the `//?p=` is the default
   value. Then forgetit, sorry.

 * If you run the nightlies you should probably follow the hackers list. The `//?
   p=` value of guid is a bug and you’ll have to clear it manually out once the 
   bug is fixed.

 * Thanks, I’ve found the mailman-pages and subscribed.
    Apart from that I wrote
   some update-statements including post_date and post_name to correct the buggy
   guids.
