    Hello,

    I host from a private web developer. He set up a new MySQL database for a new blog. I properly put in the wp-config.php information. When i tried to run the install script, //myhostname.com/wp-admin/install.php, it got the {an error occurred}.

    Ideas on how to resolve this issue?

    additional information:

    I registered my domain with a 3rd party for cheap. It’s DNS was the default for the company (register.com) and i changed it to what i thought was the DNS for my host. Now i just get a 403 error, but thats just extra.

    With the default IP, i got the directive error
