• Hi,

I see that a new release is coming up soon.
I sincerely hope that there has been some major work done to the image upload and add-to-post feature.

I have trouble believing that (apparently) one of the most popular blogging tools, and one where (apparently) the direction of the app. is decided upon by users — could have such a horrendous bug where there should be an image inserting mechanism.

If there was an easy way for me to transfer my entries to Pivot, I would.

If anyone can recommend an image insertion plugin that *works* and is easy to use, I would appreciate it, but please try to be objective, don’t just trumpet the dinky little script that you wrote. I just want something that’ll stick a photo into my entry.

  • Speaking of being objective…

You neglected to mention what sort of problem you’re having. You had a nice little vent there, but did you want to share the actual issue so we could see if there’s any help to be had?

    Okay.

I upload an image via the inline thing.
I click on it and set it to “use original”. I click on the ‘send to editor’ link, (which by the way is *not* very self-explanatory) the code show’s up in my post, but it is STILL thumbnail size — 128 by something.

    You know?

I am asking how do I fix that? Why does that not work?
Why should I have to sort through the dozens of plugins in an attempt to find one that does what the actual blogging tool should do?

I just want to stick a photo in my entry that is the same size as it is on my computer — I don’t want it hyperlinked to itself or anything – I just want a simple image.

    PS.
As far as I know I posted this in the *feedback* section.
What you call a vent — I call feedback to the people who are making this thing.
If you or they cannot take a little advice, opinion and constructive criticism – then …
