  • A minute ago everything was just fine but now when I visit /wp/wp-admin/ it just redirects to my site’s main page so there’s no way for me to access my administration panel now. I tried to reset my cookies and deleted my temporary internet files but nothing seems to help.

Does anyone know of a solution for this problem?? I logged onto my admin panel a few minutes ago and then I logged out and now I can’t visit the admin panel anymore because it redirects to my site’s main page (which is /wp/).

Thanks in advance for helping me out!

EDIT Hm, apparantly I AM able to visit my admin panel when I include index.php in my URL, like this: site.org/wp/wp-admin/index.php. However, I’m still wondering why suddenly I ain’t able to access it through /wp/wp-admin/ (without including index.php) anymore?? Because it worked a few minutes ago..

  • If you haven’t made any changes, and this just happened ‘out of the blue’, then you need to contact your host and see what they might have changed.

Or were you trying new Permalinks settings? What happens if you go to Options -> Permalinks and select “default”?

check your .htaccess file and check for any redicts in relation to your /admin folder.
