Possible bug? Checkbox in metabox gets saved as unchecked when a draft is made.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure if this is a bug or an error on my part, but I have a custom post type post that has a metabox with a checkbox in it and it is checked (lets say I just published it). Well after publishing if I stay on that page and wait, the page will autosave as a draft, but the checkbox will be saved as if it were unchecked even though it is still checked.

    Custom meta boxes or the standard ones like author, discussion, etc?

    That sounds like you have a problem in your theme’s code.

    also, i just learned that it doesn’t just do it with my meta data, but it will also do it for already coded checkboxes like the “Allow comments” checkbox.
