So my website was running quite slowly. I decided to go and do an “online check” and my external css was 38495 bytes?!!! 38k is 30k over the recommended 8. I really don’t see how this is possible. I’ve shrunk all of my CSS, PHP files and taken out all “white Spaces” but the file size is still as massive as ever.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My website is http://www.thetechn.com/

I’m fairly new to this sort of stuff, so don’t make it too complicated 😛
    Thanks

You have 54 code validation errors and 117 CSS errors on your site. That’s no doubt causing part of the problem. Use the validators to fix those problems and then see where you are.

Also, where are you getting your content? Your links are not to a report or other things you reference, but to ads — which is REALLY tacky. You are violating copyright law if you are not citing sources properly.
