[cart66] Remove the use of state in checkout

    Hi,

    I just recently downloaded cart66 Lite and I am intending to buy the full version as soon as I got confirmed that it can do everything I want.

    I found a problem:

    I’m only gonna sell within sweden therefore I don’t need/want the dropdown for state in the checkout. I’ve tried to dig in to the code and remove it but without success.

    In sweden we don’t have “states” like in the US so this is critical for me.

    Could anyone tell me how to remove that dropdown and the complete use of state?

    What version of Cart66 are you using? If you change your home country to Sweden you should not see a State dropdown: http://o7.no/XjOXRl

    Hello David, thanks for your quick reply.

    I am using the latest version as of today, 1.5.1.2. Fresh installation, fresh WordPress. I managed to remove the dropdown by messing with the plugin’s files. Not good practice, I know.

    My home country is Romania. What is the difference from Sweden and why does Romania show states? I have a dropdown with 5 “Array” items.

    Also, offtopic, I’m in the process of translating the plugin to Romanian.

    Ciprian,

    That sounds like a misconfiguration issue. Please revert the plugin to its original state, then post a screenshot of your Main settings configuration. Also, please provide me with a URL to your site so I can see what’s going on.
