[Plugin: Comprehensive Google Map Plugin] Can You Include This on Custom Post Types?

    We’re using The Events Calendar Pro and want to have a map with all of the events showing up on a map with their markers.

    Let’s say I had 20 events happening in the Seattle area I would want to see a map with all of the 20 events using the geo mashup.

    The problem I’m running into is that the metabox is only showing up on posts and pages. Is there a way to add the metabox to custom post types, in our case the Events Calendar Pro custom post types of “tribe_events”.

    Tony… ATM you have to tweak the PHP manually if you know how. Once I am settled in US, I will make a setting for this where one can specify the post types

    Amazing plugin, but could you help me find what to tweak to include a custom post type in the geo mashup please? I’ve looked through all of the files but can’t find “post_type” specified anywhere!

    Or is there anything I could put in the shortcode like post_type="customtype1"

    Any help greatly appreciated! 🙂

    I would really like this type of functionality

    Not only would I like the mashup map to filter by Post Type but also my taxonomy values

    I have a post type of MapItem and a taxonomy of cities

    I would like the following maps

    MapItem London

    MapItem Sydney

    MapItem Paris

    etc, etc

    Otherwise i am loving the plugin, I understand this may take some time but in the meantime is it possible to direct us to the right area of code so we can make modifications our selves?

    yes! this is an amazing plugin. Im building a local business listing site based on the plugin alone. seems to work very well, and its very nice looking.

    I was trying to build a custom post type for featured businesses, so i can customize a template for each. Having trouble getting the map builder to show in the editor for a custom post type. Not sure exactly where to start.

    this would be badass.
