Duplicate site settings to another site?

    Hi –

    I’m building 25 sites that will all use the same theme, structure, widgets and menus. Only the content will be different. After building the first site, is there a way to duplicate the site info to the rest of the sites?

    Things that need to be duplicated:
    9 article pages
    2 menus
    widget layout
    first blog post

    It seems very tedious to make all these items 25 times – is there a better way?

    One way is to export the data from the first installation (Tools->Export) and import it to the others.Another is to export the db and restore it to the others.

    Tried that and it worked for posts and comments – Yay!

    Now, is there a way to duplicate the widgets settings?

    i am not sure 100% but i dont think that is possible.Did you try to import the data with the theme activated?You may also try to import the database.
