I have a chat site at CJBurkey.com Chatting. But if you go there there is an error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ECHO in <b>/home/krburkey/public_html/cjburkey.com/chat/wp-content/themes/bombax/functions.php on line <b>228

Is there any way to fix this error without going into cpanel because I have had some bad history with cpanel.

  • Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

OH you cant get in when its doen
    🙁

Right now, the solution I posted above is the only way you can get into your site.

Then what would happen if I was on a wordpress server?

There’s no such things as a WordPress server. Unless of course you mean a wordpress.com site – in which case, you wouldn’t have been able to edit the theme’s template files in the first place.
