[Plugin: Custom Content Type Manager] Search custom fields?

    I’ve added a movie custom content type and a custom field called “Genre”
    When a user is reading the movie page for a movie, it shows the list of genre’s the movie is classified under. I would like to turn those genre text into searchable links.

    Is it possible to search for a custom content type posts for a specific field content? If it is, how can I do this?

    I’m hoping something like ?search=movie_genre&genre=action
