    Dear WordPress Team

I just got the following error message on my page http://www.trilight.eu, which I run with WordPress, theme TwentyTen:

    “This site is currently unavailable

If you are the account holder, please contact customer service. Our customer service center is available 24×7 via phone, chat, or email:

    Email: support@inmotionhosting.com
    Phone: 888-321-4678 (757-416-657 Int’l)

We cannot disclose any information regarding this account if you are not its owner or authorized party.
For the security and privacy of our customers, all account requests are verified prior to the disclosure of account information”

I called InMotion Hosting, and they said this problem lies with the theme maker. Since this is a wordpress-team theme, please help me asap!

    Thanks
    Susan

That’s nothing to do with WordPress.

Then please tell me, who does it have smth to do with? Is this not a WordPress Theme? I was told to contact the theme maker.

The message you posted above is a message from your hosts – not WordPress. It has nothing to do with WordPress or the Twenty Ten theme.

That is not correct. This hosting firm does not host my site, I have nothing to do with them. I called their support service, and they said, this is a problem that lies with the WordPress-theme I use.

Then who does? I can only repeat – this message is from your hosts. It has nothing to do with WordPress.

But this message is not from my hosts (Silverserver in Austria). It is from this company in the US, which I never heard of before. They in their turn claim that this has to do with content from another site, which somehow is linked to my site – and they claim that it is because of the theme that I use.

They’re wrong. It has nothing to do with WordPress or the theme, so there is nothing we can do to help you. Try contacting the email address within the message.

Ok, thank you for your help, I will contact them again… Weird is what it is.

It’s certainly very convoluted and I do appreciate how frustrating it must be for you being passed from pillar to post with no solution in sight. Feel free to reference this topic if either of your “hosts” try to blame it on WordPress again. Best of luck with it. 🙂

Thanks you for your kind reply and all your help =)
It turns out, that the most probable answer is that our site has been hacked, and that someone has written this error message into our code. We will figure it out – weird it is…

It has nothing to do with your hoster, neither with Twenty-Ten. But it has to do with some code in your WordPress installation. This might be a plugin or a theme. I also have a blog with the exakt same issue. As soon as I found a solution, I will tell you how to solve it.

    Thank you 🙂

Yes in the end I came to the same conclusion, but our host solved it for us. They told us it had to do with a WordPress plugin. We are not sure which plugin it was about, I wanted to write them and ask this week, and then post it here. But if you already know, I’d be happy and grateful to hear it from you 🙂 Maybe you post it here for others to read as well?

    Thanks again!

I will of course write and ask them and post the answer here when I get it.

I found the plugin casuing the issue: It is the “Fonts” plugin which tries to load the font-styling information from some server. The server however responds with that error instead of the stylings. Just use another fonts which is still available or switch to another plugin which has a reasonable error handling.I would recommend to use a plugin that uses the “Google Web Fonts” like the “Google Fonts” lougin does.

Thanks, great that you figured it out. Will follow your advice 🙂
