  • ah, you want free. well. I don’t know of any free hosting that will run wp, other than the wordpress.com type thing. it costs money to run those servers. pretty much gotta pay something. http://wordpress.org/hosting/

http://www.grinhost.com is free webhosting able to support wordpress. However it requires forum posting.

Interesting. I guess their method of making money is from the google ads on their forum. If the forum is active, more traffic to it, and more google revenue. For this, they are willing to give away a modest free account. I’d rather just pay for it than waste my time pimping their forum. But this might be a good option for those who have more time than money.

My webhosting company provides PHP, they have provided very decent service ever since I started with them. Check my site. There is a link at the bottom of the page. =)

They provide an installation of WordPress if you pick their $8.95/month plan. I don’t know how hassle-free their wordpress installation is, because I installed WordPress myself before they started giving this feature. But so far I haven’t had any problems…

    I love their service.

those automatic installs are not usually kept up to date. something to check before using them. as long as you can manually update/install, it would be fine.

I couldn’t agree more, that’s why I have kept my own installation, and I am actually hosting 2 wordpress installations on the same server. =)

We would be happy to offer you free hosting and offer one click wordpress installation. Feel free to check us out at http://www.freepchost.com. Don’t worry about the initial 100mb storage and 3GB bandwidth limits. If you have a legitimate site they can be greatly increased, only in place to prevent abuse.
