Image Widget add image get stuck

Hello,
I know it was a discussion here

but still, when I press the button “add image”, it get stuck, and I don’t have an opportunity to choose the file. Is there a solution, or, alternatively, is there any other reliable plugin to insert pictures into main sidebar? Thanks
