[Plugin: External Videos] Video gallery pages not working

    Hi, this is a great plugin, we wanted to add some videos from YouTube but there were just too many to add them one by one, so this did the trick really well.

    I am using the gallery shortcode and the gallery works and everything, but whenever i hit the “Older videos” link it circles back to page 1, so i have been unable to see the rest of the videos.

    I read that this might be related with the permalinks so i set it back to default and it started working, perhaps this has to do with the fact that i created a new category with a name different than “External Videos” for my videos?. I really need it to be named the way i have it setup.

    I am skilled enough to make changes without breaking anything, so any help is appreciated.

    Sounds like there is an issue with permalinks. If you find the solution and provide a patch, I’m more than happy to apply it!

    Hi,

    I’m trying to set up my video gallery and was able to put all the videos on the page. How do i filter the videos? I couldn’t find any information in the FAQ on the list of shortcodes or where to find a users manual to reference.

    Hi Silvia,

    I have 15 Cha Cha YouTube Dance Videos, 15 Foxtrot YouTube Dance Videos and 15 Salsa YouTube Dance Videos.

    I would like to post some of the Cha Cha dance Videos to the Cha Cha wordpress page, The Foxtrot Dance Videos to the Foxtrot WordPress Page and the Salsa Dance Videos to the Salsa WordPress page.

    How do you distinguish them on YouTube? Have you added special tags that we could use to filter them?

    Hi Silvia,

    I distinguish them on youtube with special tags. I added special tags so the videos could be filtered by dance type.

    I also have some videos filtered by type in playlists.

    We could implement a new feature that pulls in playlists or add a shortcode to filter by tags. These are new features. I’ve added them to my todo list. If you happen to implement them, do share a patch.
