Image Upload Problem

    Whenever I try to upload an image for using it as a featured image, the upload works and I get no error message. But when I search for the image on the given path, it says “nothing found”. Also the preview in the admin area doesn’t show any image…
    All the folders are at minimum set to 755.

    I’ve nearly tried everything, changed the temporary path for installations of plugins and stuff, but now I’m stuck.
