I like the theme… looks pretty snappy. And the integrated forum and gallery is really cool, too. I have downloaded Gallery and plan to implement it on my site as well. I don’t think a forum would go over so well on my blog, I don’t get much traffic, and rarely even get a comment.

Yeah, I agree about the background..
I don’t really get alot of use out of the forum. It was more of an experiment and the private messages are great between a couple friends.

I was just thinking how nice and clean this blog looks, when suddenly the psychedelic background of the century popped up and nearly knocked me off my chair… yikes!
(Okay, it looks better now that the content area has a background colour of its own; before, the background image was visible on the entire page, like this.)
So, yeah, I’d agree that perhaps changing the background image into something a little less… striking, would be a good idea…
And also, I’d do the rollover images for the menu using A List Apart’s CSS Sprites technique, which prevents load times for rollover images.
Other than that, methinks it’s a very neat design.
