  • Same problem here, did you find a solution?
    Thanks

    I´ve read something about that if you would load the plugin in the header of the page, it would display quicker.

    Another option could be to make it display the first image as it loads the rest…

    But how to achieve it, I don´t know…Does any one? I have the same problem.

    Thanks

    Hi 815403, mine does load in the header and still pretty slow. My client is also currently using a slow host which makes it worse. Hoping to move to faster hosting and see if that helps.
    I added a loader.gif so at least people know that its loading.
    If you wanted it to display the first image as it downloads the rest, perhas you could just make that first image the background image for where the slider goes? Then the slider will generate over the top? I am considering doing this.

    Ideally though it could show the first slides and load the others as needed.

    How would you place it “underneath” the slider?
    Would it also be possible to add the fist image as the loader.gif?

    In the list of shortcodes related to the plugin I found;

    afterLoad: Triggers when slider has loaded. (sc: afterload=”setting”)
    sc:shortcode.

    What about modifying this shortcode to trigger the slider after the load of the two first images?

    I´m quite a rookie in the web jungle, so I´ve only got proposals, and not yet so many solutions…
