Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare aws_signed_request() (previously declared in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/premiumtheme/PPT/func/funcs_premiumtheme.php:1759) in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/amazon-link/aws_signed_request.php on line 128

Had to change some names with xxxxx, as this is a public forum.
But I have absolutely no idea what this means ?

    Any help would be appreciated

Thanks Paul. Looks like an amazing plugin.
Looking forward to your fix and then I’ll add some donations.

Hi Peter, I have moved the ‘aws_signed_request’ code so that should help with the problem you are seeing.

I have uploaded this to the WordPress repository and can be downloaded from: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/amazon-link.zip – this is the ‘development’ version.

Let me know if this fixes helps, however I am in the middle of some major changes to the plugin so give me a shout if you have any other problems.

    Hi Paul

Installation works fine with the fixed installtion, but it seems that I have no option to use the generated amazon links in my sidebars as widgets.

Is it me or the plugin ?

Maybe I should point out, that I’m running Wp multisite – if that can be of any help to you.

Hi Peter, I have to admit I haven’t got around to creating a widget for the plugin yet (I’ll add it to my TODO list!).

You should be able to copy and paste any of the shortcodes that you create in a page/post into a standard ‘Text’ Widget and the plugin will convert them into the appropriate Amazon items for you.

    Cheers,

    Paul
