Good and simple slideshow plugin (excluding Nextgen Gallery) ?

    Hi,

    I’ve been looking for such a slideshow plugin for days. Nextgen Gallery is great, but when I activate it, my admin page goes blank. After somes days trying to fix this, I’ve given up on NG Gallery.

    So, do you know of a plugin allowing to :
    – display simple slideshows (I’m not looking for image galleries)
    – with a navigation bar
    – hopefully allowing to add several images at a time
    – have several slideshows in a single post
    – without my client having to write in HTML
    – with captions/descriptions displayed

    I never thought I would be so hard to find this : have you, by chance, any idea ?

    OK I’m brand new to WP but I was after just such a thing and found Meteor Slideshow and it does everything you need I think.
    It’s pretty easy to set up and it worked for me first time once I’d sussed out what to do after watching their tutorial video.

    Thanks Mike,

    I’ve installed and tried Meteor Slideshow, it works fine. But I find it very tedious to create a new slide for each image you want to add to a slideshow. Might be a bit long if we want to regularly create new slideshows.
