Blog moved and now no longer working

    I moved my blog from a subdirectory to the webroot.
    I changed “siteurl” in the wp_options database table to match the webroot.

    Then I moved the files back into the “blog” folder.
    I changed “siteurl” back to “http://mydomain.com/blog”

    Now I cannot log into the backend anymore. I get redirected to wp-login.php on webroot level (which is no longer there). Some parts of site have also become dysfunctional.

    Why is this happening? I have undone all changes.
    How can I fix this?

    Solved it. For future reference:
    – rename plugin folder to deactivate plugins
    – rename advanced-cache.php, db.php, object-cache.php
    Login is possible again. Reactivate plugins.
