• I have installed a dream template ‘Office6074’ (from ‘dreamtemplate.com’), into my WordPress server directory under ‘wp-content/themes/Office6074’, but cannot load it when I do a search for the file ‘Office6074’ under ‘Install Themes’

So instead, I installed ‘twentyeleven’, created a child theme and installed the ‘Office6074 style.css’ in it, but it has no effect. Can anyone tell me how I get this to work?

The ‘Office64’ package consisted of 2 psd images, all the jpg images and the css style sheet, no php files, but I have assumed the ‘twentyeleven’ files would handle this. I also tried installing the ‘BlankSlate’ theme and using the child, but this didn’t work either. If anyone needs more info, please advise.

  • That sounds like it wasn’t actually a WordPress theme – in which case, I’m afraid it’s useless in its present forum.

No as I said, it is a theme from ‘dreamtemplates.com’. It is not a WordPress theme, but other people have installed non WordPress themes and I am asking how is this done? What do I need to add or do to make it work?

Not “as is” on WordPress sites, they haven’t.

You need to create a whole new theme. Start with Theme Development.
