• This is the first WordPress site I’ve installed. I’m trying to set it up on behalf of a non-profit that wants to be able to maintain the site themselves (they are not technologically literate.) Since they are not primarily interested in a blog, I wanted to set it up so the Home, About, and a couple of other pages were static pages rather than compilations of blog entries. However, I did want to set up Events and other things (such as video clips, etc.) as posts.

Unfortunately, since I started by deleting the first “sample” post and making a static page Home, I can’t figure out how to create an inner page that holds the posts!

    😛

I’d love to be able to use a Category as a navigation link on the menu (eg. Events) and have that page include all related posts.

    Any suggestions?
