• Thanks again for this great plugin and your helpful feedback!

I’m wondering if there’s a way that we can modify or combine how the redirect options work within the plugin.

Right now, the redirect options are “Redirect only visitors who come from another site by link” and/or “Redirect only visitors of the site’s root.”

However, this is how we’re hoping to make the plugin work:
    – We want anyone visiting the site root (either coming to the site by a link -OR- by typing it in) to be redirected
    – We want traffic that comes in from the primary search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, for example) to be redirected
    – We want anyone that is linked to a specific page/language (such as: http://www.example.com/contact or http://www.example.com/fr/contact) to NOT be redirected

Any way to make that happen?

It seems like it would be a matter of making a special protocol for traffic coming from a search engine referrer and changing the “Redirect only…” checkboxes to work like a series of options rather than either/or choices.

But, of course, I’d have no idea how to implement those changes!

  • Hey Copernicus,

Any luck on this one? I’m looking for the exact same options.
Would be great if you get back to me on this.

    Best wishes,
    The Sofa.
