• When I search for my web site I always see the old tagline (from settings>general>tagline) and not the new one.

I have tried to find where I would go to change this but am not so savvy with understanding the codes, etc. Can you help?

  • can you post a link to your site so someone can check which tagline is showing in the meta title or other meta tags.

you can have a look yourself, using the ‘view’->’view source’ button from your browser toolbar.

are you using a SEO plugin?
and if, is the info in there all up-to-date?

search engines take a while to update the information.

Thank you for your suggestions. My URL is http://www.jonathanstein.org.

I don’t have an SEO plugin installed yet as it’s a new site and I haven’t gotten that far yet.

As for viewing the source, I tried but, honestly, I’m not sure what I’m looking at yet. I think I have to learn some html.

    Your thoughts?
