• I’ve load of wordpress sites and this is the 1st time this has happened.

    I keep getting this error

wp-content/uploads/2012/02. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I’ve CHMOD all the folders I can find to 777 but it’s still give this error.

    I’ve CHMOD Public_html / Domain name directory / WP-content / Uploads / 2012 / 02 all of them.. all one by one.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

  • It would be in your very best interest to change those folders back to original and do so right now…you have just given write access to anyone.

How big is the file being uploaded? These are limited in WP and on most webhosts. How long is it taking to upload, the upload script may be timing out. This is also a server configurable item (if allowed by host).
