Bring image "to front" or use slider as a background

I need/want to place a logo over a slider. I’ve tried everything I can think of. Messing with margins, padding, change the order in the header etc but the slider is always in “front” of the logo. Is there a way to either bring the logo to the front, or use the slider as a background?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
