[Plugin: Video Thumbnails] Would you please make a plugin for images?

    Hello there!

    Congrats on your Video Thumbnail plugin!

    I have been looking for a plugin that does the same thing but for images. The ones that are out there dont work 99% of the time. I need one that always gets the first image out of the post, whether it is an external image or an internal one.

    Thanks, but unfortunately I don’t have the time to develop a plugin for this purpose. Luckily it is a common need so there are a lot of threads and tutorials for doing it in your theme, here’s a good one.

    @gixty7: There is a plugin called Codepress Admin Columns which accomplishes what you ask. It may be a bit too much though if you don’t need the other features it offers.

    Gixty7: The functionality you mention sounds easy enough to implement. You might find a coder for hire to do such a plugin for a very reasonable fee. If you’re extra nice, you can hire someone to make a publicly available plugin.
