I’d been looking for the missing “link” so to speak that would seamlessly post from WordPress to LinkedIn. Leenk.me does the trick.
My only issue was that there are two of us authoring the blog with separate LinkedIn accounts. A couple of tech emails to Lew, and I have both accounts working flawlessly.
Thanks for an awesome and extremely reasonably priced plugin, as well as providing excellent and quick tech support.

  • spam + scam = BAD!
as others are saying, you should say it’s NOT free or else wordpress should delete your plugin.

    gixty7,

I’m not sure what you mean by “spam + scam = BAD!”… leenk.me neither spams or scams any of its users. If you read the plugin description, you will see that it clearly says there is a subscription fee for the leenk.me service. The service has a 1-month free trial for anyone to “try it before they buy it”. Also, if you read the WordPress Plugin guidelines (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/about/guidelines/), you’ll see that the plugin meets all the required criteria as “Serviceware” — just like Akismet. leenk.me, also, gladly meets all the GPL requirements. You may not be aware of this, but GPL does not mean “free” as in “free beer”. It means “free” as in “freedom to do what you want with the code”. The plugin is free, you can use the code and do whatever you want with it.

To add some perspective to the tiny fee associated with leenk.me. I currently pay 90$/mo to keep the leenk.me server up and running, I also give 10% of all profits to the WordPress Foundation. Plus I answer support emails in a timely manner.
