[Plugin: Role Scoper] Cannot save permission changes

I’m trying to deny “wp editors” to edit published pages.
I’m using RS plus User Role Editor.

In URE “editor” I have all checkboxes unchecked.
In RS Role Definition, if I try to uncheck some boxes and update the settings, the boxes return to be checked. I also tried to select “sync WP Editor to these selections” but nothing changes.

How can I resolve? thank you
