Interesting. I’ve used it on quite a few sites and haven’t had a problem.
What version of WP are you running? What is your site url?
I’m running WP 3.3.1 and the site that was breaking is http://www.scenepr.com.
I finally had the tech people on my host figure it why my site was broken, but I didn’t know it was S2Member until I tried to install it again…it did the same thing. Weird thing is I had it running on my site for months without issue..I think it is the updated S2Member that is the problem. Something in the new version is buggy
It basically 500’s my site completely
Just tried it on another one of my sites and sure enough..did it to that site too..
I had the old version working. Then I upgraded…BAM. Broken.
I found that it did something to break my .htaccess file. It added what is below to it and that broke what I had there. Removing it fixed my 500 error but I don’t know yet if that broke S2Member in anyway.
