do you have a sample link and what was the name of your theme? also, have you tried deactivating other plugins?
you could try telling EM to display events as posts in the settings pages tab
Here is an example,
http://204.45.250.249/~bouldera/events/bachelor-party
I’ve tried telling EM to display events as posts but with no luck. The only thing I have been able to do is to choose to not override.
did it work if you said not to override? wheat about when you try flicking pages/posts whilst it’s disabed?
99% chance it’s something in your theme. Try previewing the 2011 theme to verify.
you might want to try this; go to appearance > layouts > edit Post Layout Template (below Layouts and above Layout & Template Defaults ) then use this values
Header = default
Footer = default
I tried both of those things they didn’t seem to work. I know it’s aproblem with my theme I just can’t figure out how to fix it without messing with the templates.
aside from messing with your theme, no :\
Did anyone have any further thoughts on this issue? I’ve got the same problem and incidentally the same theme (Salutation by Parallelus). I’m going to put a post on their forum as well.
This happens in all of the EM pages. I can stop it from happening in the event page, but not the event list if I say don’t override and set it to posts vs pages. It doesn’t work when i try the same with the Event Listing settings.
I’ll report back on any info from the Parallelus forum.
Thanks!
can’t see the solution, but good on them for trying
Any update regarding the solution?
I guess it has to do something with tables.
@nuttmeg
have you tried the post of @hd15 ? Also, what is your theme name?
Using Salutation as well, same pro here. I fixed it by using shortcodes on regular pages/articles, after all above mentioned options did not work out.
Thanks @agelonwl for redirecting me to this thread =)
Thanks agelonwl… solved it by using the inbuilt builder function and creating a new page layout template… cheers for the pointer your were bang on target…thanks
