Post is not publishing from main post screen

Hello there!

The problem I am currently battling against is that my wordpress installation is no longer allowing me to publish posts, or update published posts from the main post view. This is also happening to pages.

Upon selecting “Publish”, the circle animation appears to the left of the button, but the textbox disappears and the page remains static.

I have checked another wordpress installation I have on the server, also of the same version, and there are no issues with posting, which makes me think it’s not a mod_security issue.

The active addons I have attached to the installation with problems include:
