WordPress Update Denied

    When I try and update to wordpress 3.3.1 I get this message:

    Could not copy files.

    Installation Failed

    I’m using the Brunelleschi theme. I updated that theme to the most recent update and haven’t been able to use the two sidebars. Is this because I can’t update wordpress?

    Not so far! I’ll post back here when I do.

    I found the solution.. You must disable all the plug-ins before you upgrade or your plugins will be missing when you do the update manually. and I can stress how tiring it is to delete and reload via ftp. K

    Thanks for the help, but I figured out mine has to do with a functions error in my site! Working on getting that fixed eventually and getting it all back to normal.
