Users not showing in the list but counting

    A few weeks ago, during the tenure of previous WP-version (now i’m using wp v. 3.3.1), my site was hacked and theme’s index.php file was replaced by hackers with their desired one. Hacker also inserted some unwanted code in config.php file along with creating a user (Administrator) for them.

    I’v removed all unwanted codes and user (Administrator) created by hackers also replaced theme’s index file with the original one,

    BUT I lost my 3 users (Editor) [i.e. deleted by hackers]. Now users list not showing any previous USER, but above the USER_LIST, counting editors as “Editor(3)”.

    How can i recover those lost users? I also checked PHPmyAdmin’s wp db, but no info remains there about lost users.

    In the filezilla, permission showing 644 for all files and 755 for all directory for which Owner/Group column showing 1461 1459 which was previously 4374 4368 for both file and directory.

    Can’t change Owner/Group column’s permission.
    May be that’s is the problem.
