OK, i have one table that had 3800 rows it uploaded and saved OK although a little slow.

Inserted the code into the page and on preview it said the table was missing. I went back to the table page, hit save again and it was showing in the table list.

Clicked preview again and still table missing, went back to the table list and it was gone.

So , i split the table into 4 each about 1000 rows and the same situation arises.

Can anyone shed any light, or care to take a look?

from this description, I assume that this is related to the character encoding. Please see these links for more:

And (independent from this problem), with 3800 rows, you might be getting close to the “practical” limit of rows. There’s no limit of rows in theory, but (as you might have notices, as you say “a little slow”) for this many rows, performance might indeed not be that good. This is why I generally don’t recommend to create tables with this many rows. If they really need to be this big, a custom solution (based on PHP/mySQL) is generally better.
