[Plugin: Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Subscriptions set to inactive by default?

I’m having several major problems with the plugin. Is this plugin still being supported? If so, here are the issues…

1. Subscriptions are being set to inactive by default. I’m allowing users to do advanced subscriptions and if they sign up for ‘All’ their status is set to ‘YC’, if they subscribe to replies it is set to ‘RC’. I don’t have double opt-in turned on so shouldn’t it just be ‘Y’ and ‘C’?

2. No emails are being sent. When I enable double opt-in they don’t get the opt-in email. If I manually approve the subscription they still don’t get notified of replies. Is this plugin still working with current versions of wordpress?
