Can you add e-commerce to wordpress?

    Yes, you can look for an e-commerce plugin. While, I’ve never set up e-commerce on WordPress I’ve heard good things about wp-commerce.

    I use basic wordpress. I dont know anything about code.

    I have no idea how to add plug ins.

    There’s no code involved in setting up plugins. You’ll install the plugin using your Dashboard. Here’s a few links to help you out:

    thanks. I dont see plugins as an option on mine though. Under appearance I have the following in this order.

    Themes
    widgets
    menus
    theme options
    background
    header
    custom design
    mobile Ipad.

    Is this a wordpress.com site or a self-hosted WordPress install?

    I just googled the difference. I am currently on the wordpress site. I do plan on moving over to Go Daddy soon. Looks like I will get additional benefits from making this move.
