    Actually, I don’t think this function is needed in a simple blog. But if you blog’s web functions are wider than just providing text to readers (travel blogs that sell tickets, books or any kind of web selling), then it might be useful to you.

    To tell you the truth I don’t like SSL certificates 🙂 but would be glad to investigate this topic if this function is needed to some.

    I guess if there’s a “securely transfer files to S3” option, that must mean that if you don’t check the box, files are transferred “in the open”. I understand that basic premise, and I appreciate you saying you should probably use it if you sell digital goods, etc.

    I’m looking for more info regarding if it costs more to use that option, if it takes TONS of system resources to transfer via SSL, etc.
    If not, why wouldn’t everyone use it?
